The Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic advisor to the business on all things people. In this role, you will provide coaching and counsel to your functional stakeholders on HR solutions, support them in implementing people and leadership best practices and foster a high-performance culture rooted in goal setting, continuous learning, and deep accountability.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Embed yourself within the respective business units and understand their priorities, challenges, and people needs by participating in OKRs & HR budget planning process, including new headcount planning. Involve in team meetings to identify HR issues and provide instant feedback as well as strategies.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers and input on business unit organizational design, restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning. Be proactive in looking for solutions, including escalating to higher levels to solve issues or conflicts in a timely manner.
- Partner with managers and recruitment teams to define talent needs, prepare hiring plans, create job descriptions, and drive recruitment efforts.
- Support managers and recruitment teams with onboarding of new talent and ensure delivering best in class onboarding experience to the new hires. Regularly meet with new hires throughout their probationary period to ensure team members are set up for success. Support with their 30-60-90 day plans.
- Advice and support managers in performance management of their teams, including consultation on performance reviews, coordination of review form completion, feedback and coaching, career growth plan and promotion plan, learning development, and disciplinary actions.
- Identify training needs for business units and partner with training experts across the organization to design and implement new training programs to meet business needs. Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up for feedback and to ensure training objectives are met.
- Collaborate with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
About You:
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR business partnership experience with proven ability to build trust and relationships across all levels of the business.
- Having a genuine passion for driving results through relationship building, you are a good communicator with the ability to coach and is experienced in providing strategic guidance to managers and individual contributors. Have the ability to quickly understand business strategies and translate them into people strategies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of organizational structures, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administration related to those factors, including deep knowledge of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- An adaptable, and flexible, thrive in a high-growth environment and know when to ask for help or escalate issues. The kind of person who can learn from mistakes and have a bias for action and a growth mindset.
