Summary

Point72 is seeking a Technical Recruiter to help define talent needs, sourcing a diverse candidate pool through a range of strategies, driving effective interview processes and managing the offer and on-boarding processes.

In this highly collaborative role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle hiring process while partnering with our internal Talent Acquisition and Hiring teams to ensure an exceptional recruiting experience.  

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as an independent sourcing strategist
  • Manage the full life cycle of technical recruiting by partnering with hiring managers, external recruiters, and candidates on logistics, including interview scheduling and greeting candidates on-site for interviews
  • Conduct initial phone screen interviews and reference calls – provide comprehensive summaries for Recruiting Managers
  • Maintain candidate data in the Firm’s applicant tracking system and recruiter tracking systems including resumes, interview notes and candidate status
  • Leverage recruiting data to prepare recruiting updates for Hiring Managers
  • Work on Point72’s recruiting strategy and initiatives with the other members of the team

What’s required:

  • 2 – 5 years of talent acquisition experience, including 2 or more years of technical recruiting experience
  • Experience within both agency recruiting and in-house recruiting is a plus
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing and determining how to handle queries, calls and issues
  • High degree of professional maturity
  • Ability to serve as an ambassador for the Firm and the recruiting team
  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills
  • Adaptability - to multitask, shift focus and prioritize assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • University degree is a plus
  • Commitment and adherence to the highest ethical standards
