Where You Fit In

As Occupational Health Lead, you will play a key role in managing health risks and promoting physical, psychological, and social wellbeing for Shell employees in Shell Business Operations (Kraków) and Shell Poland. You’ll be part of the Shell Health Team, a multidisciplinary group passionate about delivering cleaner energy solutions. You’ll also contribute to Shell’s global health strategy and reputation by supporting the Shell Health Manager and collaborating with business and functional teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Shell Group Health standards across SBO Kraków and Shell Poland.

  • Manage and evaluate high-quality occupational health and industrial hygiene services.

  • Develop and execute health plans for employees and Shell-operated businesses.

  • Provide functional supervision for health contractors.

  • Influence stakeholders on health risks, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify frontline issues and share best practices.

  • Work closely with colleagues in India, Malaysia, and the Philippines to deliver standardized solutions.

  • Engage effectively with business and functional stakeholders, including country chairs and local leaders.

  • Lead and support health-related projects and contracts, ensuring timely and effective delivery.


What we are looking for

Must have

  • A primary degree in Health (Medical, Nursing, Allied Health) or a relevant science-related discipline.

  • Fluency in English.

  • Interest in working part time, fully onsite at the office in Kraków.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Public Health, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Human Factors.

  • Experience in occupational health or related disciplines, ideally within a large organization.

  • Strong influencing skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven skills in project and contract management, verbal and written communication, and time management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of delivering results through others.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and challenge low-value work.

  • Courage to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate across boundaries to maximize value for Shell.
