Opis stanowiska

Rekrutacja zdalna

We’re a software house - our team of 30 professionals, distributed across three countries, excels in using the latest technologies to build scalable, modern solutions.  Collaboration, ownership, and mutual support are at the core of our culture, fostering open communication and professional growth. Everyone has a direct impact on the work we do, and no one goes without support when challenges arise. At the.good.code; we believe that the success of the project lies in clear and thorough project preparation, close collaboration with the clients, and the right team to do the job.

We're hiring for long-term collaboration, instead of just a single project.

Interested in hearing about the role?

Our challenge for you:

As the only HR person at the.good.code, you’ll be responsible for delivering on our hiring plan and fostering team engagement. You’ll have ownership and autonomy — but also the responsibility that comes with them.

We’re looking for an HR & Recruitment Specialist who is effective and resilient — someone who doesn’t get discouraged when the pipeline is empty, but instead looks for solutions. We want a well-organized, reliable, and trustworthy professional who can bring clarity and structure when priorities overlap.

Your objectives will be about:

  • Delivering on the hiring plan.

  • Keeping internal communication clear and effective.

  • Boosting retention and keeping the team engaged.

Curious about your responsibilities?

  • End-to-end recruitment (job posting, sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, offer negotiation). We usually run 2 recruitment processes at a time, with a maximum of 5 in parallel.

  • Close cooperation with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and role requirements.

  • Maintaining accurate data in our applicant tracking system (Traffit) and internal reports (ClickUp, Confluence).

  • Staying up to date on regional hiring trends and market insights across Europe.

  • Coordinating and executing employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, performance reviews, feedback, and offboarding to enhance employee experience and engagement.

  • Taking care of employee documentation and records.

  • Fostering a positive employee experience via internal communication, team events, and kudos board coordination.

Ready to apply? First, check if you have:

  • A strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and People & Culture processes. You’ll be the only HR person here, so we need someone we can rely on.

  • Experience in IT recruitment and solid knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.

  • Strong communication skills. You’ll work closely with COO, tech-recruiters, candidates, hiring managers, you’ll negotiate, give feedback, inform.

  • Organizational skills. We need someone who can help us stay on track when things get chaotic.

  • The ability to introduce changes, set standards, and optimize processes. Our organization evolves, and sometimes our processes must evolve too.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. We work fully remotely, and our team is distributed — so we want to be sure you’re comfortable with that.

  • Proficiency with modern ATS tools, sourcing platforms, and reporting dashboards. For you, these tools are allies, not obstacles.

  • Critical thinking ability. We need someone who can analyze, question, and make sound decisions – not just tick boxes blindly. Checklists are great, we love them too, but you know when to go beyond them.

  • Experience of working in an IT company – software house, start-up or scale-up.

  • Fluency in English and Polish, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Experience of cooperating with legal/ accounting departments.

  • Experience working in an international environment.

You want to know what we offer, right?

  • Salary in the range of 55–80 PLN / hour

  • B2B contract

  • Flexible working hours (our core hours are 10am - 3 pm)

  • Co-financing of Multisport card

  • Yearly bonus

  • Training budget

  • Hybrid work. You can work from home most of the time, but it's important to us that you'll come to Gdańsk when needed.

The recruitment process is not a mystery either. Here are the steps:

  1. The application form — fill it out. It's important to us, we really read it!

  2. 45 minutes video interview to talk about your previous experiences

  3. 90 minutes video interview to check your hard skills

  4. 30 minutes final interview to check culture fit

55 - 80 PLN/godz.
