For our Client, a global IT consulting company, USG Infotech, with 20 years of operations in 8 countries, we are looking for a person for the position of HR Business Partner.
This is an exciting opportunity to help the Client setup their first office in Poland (Krakow - Błekitek K1 building) and provide IT services to one of the world's biggest banks.
The HR person will be the first hire with the main responsibility to initially run the recruitment and onboarding of the remaining staff and later drive the employee engagement, performance and development.
In your role you will:
- support the Client's Vice-President with resources planning and budgeting for the Polish office
- represent the Client (if needed) during key stakeholders' meetings
- source and recruit the IT specialists & back office staff
- coordinate the preparation of contractual documentation (with a local law firm);
- manage the full onboarding processes incl. medical check ups and BHP training coordination (through local vendors)
- implement and administer HR systems & processes (including payroll and leaves)
- be preparing, managing and coordinating internal HR reports
- ensure company's compliance with the Polish Labor Law
- drive the Client's employer branding on the Polish market
- support leaders and managers in driving high engagement, job satisfaction and retention across their teams
- support the Client with employee development, talent management and succession planning
- support the Client with HR policies, change management & comms
This type of the job doesn't come very often - the project is about to kick off and you have the unique opportunity to become a founding team member :)
Ideally you will:
- like to be in the driver's seat at the front of the events
- be fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
- have at least 5 years of HR experience
- have Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in HR
- have good knowledge and practice of the Polish Labor Law
- be great at coordinating with local vendors and suppliers
- be a fantastic communicator who builds lasting relationships
It will be great if you:
- have IT industry background
- have at least 1 year of HR BP experience
- have experience in launching/setting up an office
