We are seeking an 👉 IT Recruiter for Balyasny Asset Management (B.A.M.) who is a global institutional investment firm that is opening its first office in Poland, precisely in Warsaw.

As the leader of the Data Intelligence Group (DIG), you’ll drive data engineering, collection, enrichment, and AI initiatives to equip portfolio managers, analysts, and quants with superior data capabilities.


Your role involves assembling and guiding a team of data engineers, analysts, and AI experts to develop cutting-edge tools and infrastructure that leverage AI, enhancing the entire data lifecycle from collection to enrichment. You’ll oversee project development from concept to delivery and serve as the key contact for internal stakeholders.

💡 Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete recruitment process, encompassing both the company’s perspective and the candidates' journey.
  • Source candidates in alignment with client expectations to ensure the delivery of the most fitting candidates.
  • Provide guidance to both clients and candidates regarding salary benchmarks, training needs, career prospects, and effective talent acquisition strategies.


✅ Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as an IT recruiter
  • Solid understanding of the financial industry, market insights, and demonstrated enterprise-level thinking
  • Proficiency in distinguishing between assets, commodities, derivatives, long, short, and related financial terminology
  • Strong cultural influence within the office environment
  • Ability to independently manage end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques such as Boolean, X-ray, etc.
  • Excellent proficiency in both English and Polish
  • Bachelor’s degree
