For our growing financial department we are currently looking for Accounts Payable Senior Team Leader.


Accounts Payable Senior Team Leader will be part of AP Team responsible for AP processes in KION Business Services. The person will take the responsibility for managing and leading the Team, its effectiveness and efficiency.

Zakres obowiązków i wymagania:

  • Firstly, You’ll be responsible for managing and leading assigned CoE AP teams, You’ll drive your teams performance in terms of effectiveness and efficiency including process improvements,
  • You’ll ensure understanding of and compliance with the agreed policies and procedures by team members in the delivery of services across the KION Group,
  • You will be responsible for a team of around 60 people and for the services they provide on a daily basis,
  • You’ll support and develop teams in the Business Transformation project,
  • You’ll support and develop teams through regular communication, planning, coaching and performance reviews,
  • You’ll monitor, interpret and report teams key performance indicators,
  • You’ll coordinate, evaluate and supervise the implementation of process improvements within the Accounts Payable area,
  • You’ll resolve OpCo queries relating to AP processes as specified by relevant SLAs/KPIs,
  • You’ll support internal/external audit requirements in respect of CoE AP processes.


Your Skills and Expertise

  • Professional experience in area of Finance and Accounting, especially Accounts Payable,
  • Approx. 4-5 years of people management experience,
  • Knowledge of standard business processes and software, e.g. SAP, Basware,
  • Good communication and presentation skills, readiness to lead discussions with Group Leadership Team, Fluent in English,
  • Profound organizational skills and ability to set right priorities,
  • Strong social competences and open minded approach,
  • Maintain a high degree of creditability, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust


Nice-to-have: 

  • Graduated (Bachelor, Master or similar) in Business / Finance with focus on Accounting,
  • Knowledge of German Language
