BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems (PDS) is currently looking for dynamic, results driven individual to join as a Human Resources Business Partner at our Krakow Technical Center in Poland.
In this role, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a trusted and strategic partner to leaders and employees focusing on a broad range of HR initiatives designed to attract, retain, and develop our talent, while building and delivering on key business strategies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing comprehensive strategic and tactical generalist support within all facets of Human Resources for the Krakow Technical Center PDS engineering workforce. Partners directly with leadership on talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, talent management, performance management and diversity, equity & inclusion.
- Effectively communicates, establishes and maintains effective employee relations with all levels of management and employees at the Technical Center.
- Accelerates effective talent sourcing and recruitment strategies to meet the needs of the business using the appropriate mix of internal and external recruitment, effectively supports the Talent Acquisition process through preparation of job descriptions, and related activities with the internal and external recruitment programs.
- Identifies and builds a sustainable partnership with identified universities and institutions for bringing the right talent on board, build a strong employer brand on campuses.
- Drives effective implementation of a coaching culture between managers and individuals so that coaching for performance is embedded as part of the day to day working approach.
- Facilitates Learning and Development activities, including performance management, and development of management and leadership capabilities.
- Ensures HR policies and practices are effectively communicated and compliant with all applicable country and local law/regulations to minimize company’s exposure to legal risks.
- Generates and effectively utilizes business and workforce analytic reporting and trending overviews.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties and responsibilities.
- Safety and Health – Responsible for completing required safety training, reporting and correcting any unsafe practices as appropriate, completing work activities in a safe manner, and complying with safety and health requirements for respective position.

Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related discipline required.
- A minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist/ Organizational development experience
- Demonstrated ability in a broad range of Human Resources functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, etc.
- Strategic thinker who also has a strong attention to detail.
- Strong consultative skills with experience coaching, influencing and building effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Highly collaborative as part of a local and global HR team.
- Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills with and ability to diagnose and support data driven decision making
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, which includes ability to remain objective and use discretion in all situations.
- Strong knowledge of local labor and employment law, social security and tax aspects.
- Extremely proficient with HR Information Systems (such as Workday), Learning Management Systems, and related program software, and Microsoft Office Suite, with an ability to assimilate and visualize data and build presentations with impact.
- Fluent in English is required. Mastery of a second language is preferred. Polish would be a valuable asset.
