The successful candidate will join as a HR Administrator and work as part of Brickendon’s internal team. You will have the responsibility of:
Duties:
- Provide ongoing HR advice to the Polish team on a number of areas including Employee Relations, Policies and Procedures, Performance, Sickness Absence and Coaching and Guidance to Employees and Managers
- Responsible for onboarding and off-boarding of employees and contractors in Poland including, conducting induction and exit meetings, arranging various types of employment and contractor contracts, work permit checks and right to work checks
- Arranging Health & Safety training and medical appointmentsLiaising with senior management and lawyers regarding work permits/visas
- Responsible for monthly payroll reporting details to Financial Controller, liaising with external payroll providers as and if required
- Manage the employment benefits in Poland including making recommendations to senior management of new benefits from time to time
- Coordinate, administer the HR systems and provide support in HR Processes ensuring accurate and relevant documentation is provided in a timely manner i.e. Recruitment, Organisational Changes
- Responsible for keeping policy and employment legislation up to date and ensure practices are carried out in line with any changes in legislation
- Prepare statistical breakdowns including analysis of sickness/absence and holidays
- Assists in disciplinary / grievance hearings, advising on legislative and company policy and procedures
- Provide first point of contact for Polish HR support, providing appropriate advice to ensure a consistent approach
- Coordinate and administer all Learning & Development courses from requests through to event delivery in conjunction with training consultant, recording relevant qualifications and course evaluations, through the provision of an effective administrative service
- Coordination of staff development plans and actions in conjunction with senior management
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail applied to both the more administrative tasks as well as the HR-related duties
- Experience in Polish employment and contractor matters: types of employment contracts, work permits, visas, right to work in Poland, employee benefits, policies, HR systems
- Very strong Excel skills and Word skills
- HR qualifications and hands-on experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisation and timekeeping skills are essential
