Associate HR Business Partner Eastern Europe

What will you be doing?
During first months of onboarding you will acknowledge people management tools and resources to align with business goals and associated HR priorities. You'll work closely with HRBP team Europe and managers to understand business and needs, focusing on key HR processes, participating in implementation and/or customization of HR policies and programs, facilitating alignment of HR initiatives through partnership with the entire European HR group. You will participate in translation of business needs into the right HR interventions, support senior colleagues with global and EU projects.
Once your knowledge on our business and network connections are built you will slowly take responsibility for agreed divisions/countries acting as HRBP Associate. With the growth of responsibilities and your experience in the role you can grow to HR Business Partner.
Scope of role:
- Act as an advisor to employees and people managers on full spectrum of HR matters
- Support in the execution CHR People strategy and key processes, such as performance management, employee development, employee life-cycle events, succession planning
- Redirect managers and employees to right HR specialists according to business needs, drive efficient use of HR services
- Work closely with other HR departments (L&D, Recruitment, HRSSC) to make sure all HR processes run smoothly
- Be the first point of contact and provide day to day guidance to line management (local employment labor law, terminations, onboarding, health and safety, compliance, disciplinary, promotions, long term illness case-guidance)
- Support leaders on people management skills and responsibilities, challenge them and act as their sounding board
- Supporting the team on driving regional acquisitions, reorganizations, and restructuring, opening/closing of offices
- Understand local benefits, explain the rules to manager and employees
- Support in drafting and issuing regional HR communications
- Validation of legal documents related to employment and ensure the process is handled in a correct and timely manner
- Participate in different HR projects to improve and innovate HR processes
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Human Resources
- At least 5 years of working experience, including min. 2 years in HR. Preferably HR generalist, advisory roles.
- Language skills - fluent Polish, English ( everyday tasks in Polish and English, cooperation with people from around the globe)
- Assertive personality, not being afraid of taking initiative (self-leading and proactive)
- Practical knowledge of Polish labor law and experience with legal processes, practical knowledge of labor law of Romania, Czech Republic, Turkey, Hungary will be a plus.
- Payroll experience is a plus, but not a must
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in building relationships with peers and business leaders
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving/critical thinking skills
- Positive, friendly attitude to people and challenges
- Traveling within Eastern region up to 10 % of time
