Introducing Centra and the new HR Manager role:
Centra is a SaaS startup, offering e-commerce software focused on brands in the fashion and lifestyle segments. Centra has a market leading position within its niche on the Nordic market, and many customers outside the Nordics. We’re now looking to accelerate the global expansion and become the market leader in several other countries.
In the role as HR Manager, you will work closely with our co-founders and management team, and existing recruiting team, to lead initiatives across the organization including, talent planning, engagement and retention, career development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee experience, location strategy and remote work strategy.
We’ve built our software to be the very best in the world and we build our team around that same ideal. It has been a fantastic journey so far, going from 0 to 60 colleagues in just under five years. We are now looking for a colleague who wants to join our management team as the HR Manager supporting our ambition to double the team in size during the coming year.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead all aspects of a human-centered people & culture strategy and initiatives that support our long-term vision
- Defining our culture strategy together with our founders and senior management. Planning and executing initiatives to reach our target culture
- Define and together with management execute our strategy for maximizing employee engagement across all departments
- Drive our performance review process together with our management team, and evolve and improve our performance review process
- Ensure everyone working at Centra has the company’s full support in their professional development
- Drive Centra's employer branding strategy and execution together with our marketing and recruiting colleagues
- Manage payroll and payments of freelancers, time reporting, manage HR documentation including preparation of contracts, annexes and work certificates
- Providing advice and support to employees on people-related topics with the goal to maximize talent retention
- Drive all legal and tax related HR processes together with our external advisors, including working permits, insurances, ESOPs and so on
- Directly manage other colleagues working within HR
- Overall contribute to building a great company

Who are you?
- Hands-on experience leading HR processes. You have a track record of building and developing high-performance structures and HR strategies. You have a track record of developing and exciting exceptional individuals
- Be up-to-date on employment laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements regarding people management, to support company leaders
- Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies
- Strong drive and energy, and desire to help us grow our startup. You will report to our CEO and be part of the senior management team
- A specialist with at least 4 years of experience at a similar position
