Opis stanowiska

We are Listonic a company driven by a mission to make smart apps that change people's daily lives for the better. Our fast-paced team, based in Łódź (and 5 other Polish cities), develops digital products used by millions, and changes the way people do groceries by making it actually smart.
Long story short: we’ve been around since 2009 and throughout the years we’ve become known for the top-rated and most-downloaded shopping list app in the world
Right now, we’re in a growth stage as a business, and there is a lot to experiment with on the marketing side. However, so far, Listonic’s popularity has been driven by the quality of our product rather than disciplined marketing efforts.
We are looking for the Listonic’s first HR manager to lay the foundations for our growth and development as a company as well as a team.

Your responsibilities:

  • Build HR/People Operations in the company
    • Lead the team from 40 to 100 people in 3 years and on.
    • Recruit and headhunt 20 people in the first year (top talents in various professions, including occupations in high demand).
    • Run employer branding activities
  • HR Administration
    • Coordinate the payroll and legal HR processes — in cooperation with our accounting/tax firm and office coordinator;
    • Maintain employee contracts, records, and other personnel documents;
    • Guide employees about HR-related issues and procedures;
  • Internal HR
    • Conduct onboarding, employee engagement, assessment & development — introduce your own rules and processes;
    • Internal communication, culture building and making sure that Listonic is a great place to work;
    • Assess and report HR metrics;
  • Working with the management board
    • Strengthen Listonic culture and values;
    • Cooperate with the company board in growing the organization, keeping good retention and increasing overall productivity;

Our requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, including 2+ in a leadership role;
  • Knowledge of Polish labor law and regulations;
  • Proven record of cooperation with people on all levels in the company structure;
  • Knowledge about global HR trends, best practices, methodologies and tools;
  • A can-do attitude, hands-on approach and a genuine belief in that we are better together;
  • Good organization and analytical skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Fluency in English

What we offer:

  • Ability to set up HR from scratch.
  • Being a trusted advisor and involvement in key projects within the organization;
  • Real impact, real development opportunity.
  • Freedom and responsibility.
  • Work at a product-first company. Awarded products used all around the globe.
  • Working with top talent, passionate teams excelling on a global scale.
  • Dynamic, friendly atmosphere, open-minded professionals :)
  • Attractive salary, flexible hours.
  • Remote work during the pandemic and a hybrid remote/on-site work

About company:

At Listonic, we create mobile apps that help millions of users worldwide. We are known for our top-rated shopping list app, but we also run other global mobile projects, including:
  • Waterful https://waterfulapp.com — water tracker & drinking reminder app featured by Apple in 137 countries.
  • Pregnancy Tracker — app that helps and guides future moms during pregnancy.
  • Sales and deals — weekly flyer app, a soon-to-be major player in shopping apps :)
We are a product-first, user-centered company, 40 people strong. We are evenly split between the development, marketing & design, and sales teams. Our revenue grows yearly by ~50% while our team by ~25%. Our revenue sources are international and varied, and we aspire for global, open culture.
In the best-case scenario, we will work together for a long time. We need you to accelerate the organization's growth and become ready for new challenges in 5, 10, and 15 years from our first meeting.
We believe it is early enough to set up HR/People/EB operations that will become a benchmark for the industry and late enough that we have specific issues to solve.
